They perform functions that make standing, walking, and running more comfortable by maximizing your biomechanical efficiency.

- Detailed evaluation & measurements.
- Foam casting of your foot instead of plaster.
- Fabrication of custom device.
Cost of Orthotics
- In most cases, the custom orthotic device will cost $350.00 including shipping.
- A $200.00 deposit is required at the time of casting.
- The balance of $150.00 is due at the time of dispensing.
- The cost of the evaluation and follow-up visits are not included in the cost of the device.
- Few insurance companies cover the cost of the actual device.
- The evaluation and follow-up visits are usually covered by your insurance company as a physical therapy evaluation or visit.
- If your coverage requires the number of visits that will be required, typically 4 visits will suffice.
- In order for your orthotic consultation to be covered by insurance you will need a referral from your primary care physician.
